We provide a comprehensive range of broadband options

1. SoGEA (Single Order Generic Ethernet Access)

SoGEA FTTC (Fiber to the Cabinet):

  • Overview: SoGEA FTTC provides broadband internet through a combination of fiber optic cables and traditional copper wires.
  • Infrastructure: Fiber optic cable to a street cabinet, then copper wire to the premises.
  • Speed: Typically up to 80 Mbps download, 20 Mbps upload.
  • Installation: Easier and faster to install than FTTP, utilizing existing copper infrastructure.
  • Use Case: Suitable for residential users and small businesses needing reliable internet without very high-speed requirements.
  • Key Benefit: No need for a traditional phone line, reducing costs.

SoGEA FTTP (Fiber to the Premises):

  • Overview: SoGEA FTTP delivers broadband directly via fiber optic cables to the premises.
  • Infrastructure: Entirely fiber optic, offering higher speeds and reliability.
  • Speed: Ranges from 100 Mbps to 1 Gbps or more for both download and upload.
  • Installation: Requires more extensive installation compared to FTTC, as fiber must be run directly to the premises.
  • Use Case: Ideal for businesses and homes needing very high-speed, reliable internet.
  • Key Benefit: Superior performance with no dependency on copper wires.

2. Leased Lines

  • Overview: A leased line is a dedicated, private internet connection directly linking your premises to the internet service provider.
  • Infrastructure: Dedicated fiber optic or copper line, not shared with other users.
  • Speed: Symmetrical speeds (same upload and download) ranging from 10 Mbps to 10 Gbps, based on the plan.
  • Installation: Involves more complex and costly installation, requiring dedicated infrastructure.
  • Use Case: Best for businesses requiring high reliability, symmetrical high speeds, and guaranteed uptime, such as those relying on cloud services, video conferencing, or data-intensive applications.
  • Key Benefit: Guaranteed performance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) ensuring uptime and minimal latency.

Comparison

  • Performance: Leased lines offer the highest performance and reliability, followed by SoGEA FTTP, with SoGEA FTTC being the least performant but still suitable for general use.
  • Cost: SoGEA FTTC is typically the most cost-effective, SoGEA FTTP is moderately priced, and leased lines are the most expensive due to dedicated infrastructure.
  • Installation: SoGEA FTTC has the easiest and quickest installation, SoGEA FTTP requires more work, and leased lines require the most extensive setup.
  • Use Case: Residential and small businesses with moderate needs can opt for SoGEA FTTC or FTTP. Larger businesses or those with critical internet needs should consider leased lines.

Choosing the right option depends on specific requirements such as budget, required speed, and the critical nature of the internet connection for your operations.

Comprehensive range of connectivity options for all businesses. From basic Fibre to Cabinet FTTC to dedicated business leased lines.
